For Restaurants & Food Carts
One scoop, one motion,
the same result every service.
Ten proprietary formulations, blended to order in pounds. A flavor no other supplier can put in your kitchen.
Why Kitchens Call
Two problems every kitchen fights
Sameness.
Smoked paprika, cumin, chile, garlic — every kitchen in town draws from the same shelf, and menus built from the same shelf drift toward tasting like each other. Standing out costs R&D time most working kitchens don’t have.
Drift.
A signature dish should taste identical on Tuesday and Saturday, whoever’s on the line. Every separately measured spice is a place for that to slip.
Emberloft blends answer both at once. Each is a proprietary formulation — a flavor no other supplier can put in your kitchen, because it comes from exactly one place: ours — and each is built around a designed behavior: when it goes in, what it does under heat, what shows up on the plate.
What Designed Behavior Tastes Like
The finish a guest can't name
Black Orchard is built for rich meats and time — lamb, short ribs, duck, anything that rewards patience.
Under heat, the herb-driven savor deepens — rosemary and warm spice carrying through the fat. But the blend's signature arrives after the rest: a dark citrus note that wasn't on the first bite out of the oven. It emerges as the meat sits, savory rather than sharp, and it lingers. A guest tastes that finish and can't name it — they just know your lamb doesn't taste like anyone else's.
That's one blend. Ten formulations in the line, each built around a different moment in cooking: bases that bloom in oil and season a dish from the inside out, rubs that develop under fire, finishing blends that land in the last pinch.

On the Line
The numbers that matter
Cost per plate, not per pound.
A pound holds roughly 150 teaspoons. A dish built on a half-teaspoon carries about nine cents of Emberloft — less than the napkin it’s served with.
One measurement instead of eight.
Each blend replaces a rack of individually portioned spices with a single scoop. Faster prep, shorter mise, one fewer place for service to drift.
Documented behavior.
Every blend arrives with a behavior sheet — timing, heat, applications, portion guidance. Your cooks know what it will do because it was designed to do exactly that.
The Blends
Ten formulations
Spanning the full arc of cooking — savory bases that bloom in oil, grill rubs built for fire and rest, herb blends that finish a dish, and a citrus finishing salt.

Amber Root
Warm root spice that builds from the bottom up, before anything else goes in.

Golden Citrus Shore
Bright citrus that cooks in, savory warmth that stays balanced.

Midnight Smoke
Steady smoke and warm chile, depth that builds the longer it cooks.

Black Orchard
Herb-driven savor that builds during cooking and reveals a dark citrus finish after resting.

Savory Hearthbread
Garlic-led savoriness and warm herbs, bread that smells incredible and tastes even better once cooled.

Silken Garden
The cohesion layer that turns brown butter, sage oil, or curry-leaf ghee into a complete seasoning.

Crimson Ember
Warm spice and dry smoke, a savory finish that deepens after the grill.

Molten Earth
Dark roast and savory earth, a deep crust that tastes fire-kissed, not sweet.

Smoldering Fig Dust
A warm, sweet-smoked finishing blend that turns savory and lingers clean.

Scarlet Citrus Fire
Bright citrus lift and clean heat, food that tastes finished with one pinch.

Bespoke Blends
Formulated for one kitchen. Reserved for it.
The catalog is available to every kitchen we serve. A bespoke blend is not — it's formulated for one kitchen and reserved for it: a rub for your smoker, a base for your broth, a finish for one signature plate.
It starts with the dish. You tell us what the plate needs to do, and we formulate against that. Test batches go to your kitchen; your cooks approve on real service, not in ours.
Development
$300
Credited toward your first supply order. Bespoke supply carries a premium over catalog pricing and opens with a three-month standing order — exact rates come with your inquiry.
Menu Credit
Kitchens that credit the blend on the menu — seasoned with Emberloft Amber Root — get first access to every seasonal and limited blend before anyone else.
Getting Started
A conversation and a half-pound
Tell us what you're cooking and what the dish needs to do — we'll point you to the blend built for that job, or talk honestly about whether we have one. Trial pouches let your kitchen test on real service before committing to pounds. From there we set up your account: labeling requirements, delivery day, and a standing schedule if you want one.
